About our company....
Hello, my name is Ron Bak and I am the President and CEO of Bak Electronics, Inc. I have been in the electronics field for 38 years and over 30 of those years have been in electronic support of electrophysiology research. I spent 3 years working in support of research labs at N.I.H.

After leaving NIH due to temporary status of my position and the Federal Government having a hiring freeze on, I sought employment in industry. Here I worked on the research and successful development of the first credit data authorization terminal (i.e.. credit card) for American Express. I then worked for Control Data Corp. on the Washington D.C. areas Mass Transit farecard collection system. My designs are replete throughout the metro stations and their KIOSKs. Other projects included the automation design for military RF receivers deployed along the North American D.E.W. line and specialization of twin redundant and co-processing IBM 360 computers for retrofitting into the cockpits of U.S. fighter jets as well as others.

Most all of our product line was developed either fully out of a research lab or in close concert with a research lab. We have gone to great lengths to provide you with the proper inputs and outputs, controls and settings and parameter ranges to best facilitate your research endeavors. We realize that in research, it is not possible to give everyone exactly what they need for all situations in a single product offering. That is why we offer custom design services.

If you call and discuss an application with me directly and we agree on a solution, I will guarantee that solution. If it does not do what you need it to do, I will fix it or modify it or simply, take it back. There may be an additional charge for this.
